DJ R continues to dominate the league with another win. The ladies had a strong showing this month with Kelly B finishing 2nd and Laura K. finishing 4th. Newcomer Jeff K. took out a few people and ended up finishing 3rd.

An impressive win by the newcomer (and "handicapped") Bob R. He took down Scott K for first place. Jeff B finished third and Angela H finished a nice fourth.

Saturday night was another great night of poker. We had 10 new players and 11 returning players for a total of 21 people. That was a total prize pool of $420!

Jeff Branton, who finished 8th, made his second final table of the year. Unfortunately, he was taken out by a 72 off-suit - ouch!. Krystal Wright's AK lost to 2-pair for a 7th place finish. Ed Ligtenberg finished a disappointing 6th. Angela Higgs finished, on the money bubble, in 5th place. Newcomer Troy Mahnke won $40 for his 4th place finish. Brent Cartwright redeemed his last month.s performance with a 3rd place finish, giving him a payout of $70. New members of KCPC won the top 2 places. 2nd place and $116 went to Scott Grigg. The top prize of $188 went to Brad Holliwell.

The second tournament for KCPC had another fair turnout. Once again, there was 16 people who attended the game and the top 3 spots were payed. All 3 payouts were to new players!

Brent C was the first player out. Mark H finished on the points bubble in 9th place. Three players had a repeat showing at the final table, Jeff B, DJ R. and Mollie R. Kevin W finished in 8th place. 7th place went to Mollie R. Jeff B. lost on the river to finish 6th to DJ R. Newcomer Jim Gowdy played well and finished 5th. DJ R once again finished on the money bubble ending up in 4th place. Mike "silent assassin" G. got knocked out in 3rd place and took home $64. Jason P. played well and finished in 2nd place and was awarded $96. Mani R. put on a poker show, won the tournament and a prize of $160.

Our first tournament had a fair turnout. I figure that the bad weather had a bit to do with it. There was 16 people who attended the game and the top 3 spots were payed.

Kim B finished in 8th place. DJ then hit quad-kings to take out both Jeff Br. (7th) and Aaron K. (6th). Jason M ended up in 5th place via Mollie. DJ ended up 4th after losing a hand to Jeff B. Mollie played a great game and finished in 3rd place, taking home $64, after Tim B. rivered a straight. Tim B. finished in 2nd place and was awarded $96. Jeff B., your gracious host, won the tournament and a prize of $160.
